Get ready to introduce yourself. AIM 2015 Kick-off Speaker Susan RoAne has a fun homework assignment for all AIM attendees. As detailed in one of the first ever AIM podcasts (right-click to download here for in-flight listening on your way to Huntington Beach) the self-described Mingling Maven and best-selling author of How to Work a Room wants everyone to come to AIM with a 7-9 second self-introduction prepared.
What’s more, RoAne is also providing an advance look at her 21 Tips for
How to Work a Room, and will moderate a networking breakfast roundtable on Tuesday for attendees who want to get even more professional advice on making business connections that last.
But don’t just take it from us. AIM attendee Jennifer Grossman, who was jut recently promoted at Pinnacle, thinks RoAne will be a personal highlight of the 2015 conference. “I’m looking forward to How to Work A Room featuring Susan RoAne, as relationship building is one of the keys to success in a regional marketing position,” Grossman says. “Building stronger relationships with key stake holders assists in an effort to help build the right marketing culture within an organization.”
Be sure to download Susan’s podcast and grab the 21 Tips — one of our favorites is #21, Exit conversations gracefully. With that, we wish everyone safe travels and look forward to seeing you next week in Huntington Beach.
P.S. — A special thanks to the National Apartment Association for sponsoring Susan’s session at AIM. Thank You!
