Attention, multifamily auteurs: the AIM Conference is now accepting entries for its annual 2016 Video Awards.

Just like in years past, property managers and multifamily owners and operators can submit videos in the following categories:

  • Best Community Marketing Video
  • Best Brand Marketing Video
  • Best Training Video
  • Best Amateur Video
  • Best Short Form or New Format Video

Vendors are encouraged to submit entries for the Best Vendor Video category (note: this is the only division in which they are eligible to participate).

Applications will be accepted until Wednesday, February 17, 2016. The $20-per-video entry fee will be donated to the Housing Industry Foundation.

Finalists and category winners will be announced at the AIM Video Awards ceremony, to be held at the 2016 AIM Conference, May 2-4 at the Hyatt Regency Resort and Spa in Huntington Beach, Calif. Pete Regules, director of multifamily products and services at CORT, will once again be the emcee of the event.

Always one of the most popular and liveliest parts of the conference, the Video Awards ceremony is a great opportunity to experience and honor the vast array of smart, attractive and, yes, often funny videos that multifamily marketers are producing to showcase their communities and brands and to drive their leasing efforts.

And let’s be honest: the Napa wine that will be served at the show isn’t a bad reason to attend, either.
